Kabi "Shiromani" Lekh Nath Poudyal (1884 - 1965)
Late poet Lekh Nath Poudyal was born on 1884 at Archale, Kaski.  He is one of the founding father of Modern Nepali literature. He had written lots of literary books : Tarun Tapsi, Ritu Bichar,
Buddhi Binod, Sayta Kali Sambad, Lalitya, Abhigyan sha-kuntal, Gauri-Gaurav. He had also written some drama like Laxmi Puja and Bhartihari Nirveda. Many critic
said about his poem “Pijadako Suga “was satiric to then autocratic Rana Government. He served as life member of Royal Nepal Academy. He was awarded Tribhuwan Pagya Puraskhar. He died on year 1965. He was decorated by the Honor of Kabi Shiromani (The poet Laureate).
